Role: Production Operative

Location: Chesterfield

6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm / 10pm – 6am

£30,510

Permanent Position

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Operative to join a market leading engineering company based in Chesterfield.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, load, operate company production equipment (training provided)
Unpack products/parts and complete the required documentation accurately
Inform the Production Manager or Shift Supervisor of any problems with the planned production schedule.
Ensure that suppliers, customers and drivers are dealt with courteously and efficiently at all times.
Assist with Goods In and Despatch duties.
Operate the forklift truck as required.
Deliver / collect goods to / from customers if required.
Assist with minor maintenance activity and report maintenance requirements
Requirements:

Previous production/manufacturing experience, ideally in an engineering environment
Forklift and/or crane operating experience (desirable)
Attention to detail
Previous experience working within an engineering/manufacturing environment would be advantageous, but full training will be provided.

Candidates with previous experience as a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Paint Sprayer or Assembly operative could be suitable for this role.
