Our client are a global leader in engineering and manufacturing with sites across the globe. They are seeking a production manager to join their Gloucestershire site. The role will suit someone with experience across ensuring multiple teams are able to meet production targets and ensure a high level of quality  

Responsibilities – Production Manager

Prepares annual production budget, oversees progress, and determines actions to cost issues as necessary in order to manage operations within the budget and resources.
Develops programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations.
Develops and executes plans to reduce non-value-added costs, increase revenues, and delight customers by delivering products on time with high factory and supplier yields and decreasing product field failure rates.
Provides support to the Sales team, as required, during customer visits to explain the capabilities of the manufacturing facilities.
Collaborates with Operational Excellence teams to integrate lean manufacturing principles into production processes.
Qualification/Experience –Production Manager

Proven experience in Quality Assurance and Operational Excellence, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
Demonstrated ability in managing team performance and resource planning to meet operational targets.
Solid understanding of budget management and capacity planning in a dynamic environment.
Strong skills in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to translate insights into actionable improvements.
Experience overseeing end-to-end operational processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance across the full workflow.
