Job Title: Production Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations in the precision engineering industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, process optimization skills, and a deep understanding of high-precision manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:



Oversee daily production activities to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality output.

Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost reduction.

Lead and mentor a team of production supervisors, engineers, and operators to optimize workforce performance.

*

Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and AS9100.

*

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and supply chain, to enhance operational effectiveness.

*

Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive process enhancements.

*

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to meet production targets.

*

Manage production planning, resource allocation, and capacity utilization to meet customer demands.

*

Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence within the production team.

*

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in precision manufacturing.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

*

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a production management role within the precision engineering or manufacturing industry.

*

Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization techniques.

*

Proven leadership skills with experience managing production teams in a high-precision environment.

*

Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for production planning and inventory management.

*

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

*

Excellent communication and organizational skills with a proactive and results-driven approach.

*

Experience working with automotive, aerospace, medical, or other high-precision manufacturing industries is preferred.
