ID Systems part of the M Group Services Water Division are the leading service provider in the water and wastewater infrastructure sectors in the UK. ID Systems are an established industry leader providing single sourced solutions within the field of MEICAT Engineering. Our areas of expertise include manufacture, PLC/SCADA, telemetry integration, electrical engineering design, installation, project management and preventive maintenance. Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking to recruit an Panel Wire Person to join our rapidly growing teams in our Cumbernauld factory.

ID Systems UK is currently looking to recruit Panel Wire Person to work on our workshop located in Cumbernauld, Glasgow.

As the Workshop panel wire person you will be required to fully build various electrical control panels for different clients, have an understanding of the product or system being built to ensure it meets the business needs when complete. 

As the Panel Wire Personyour duties & responsibilities will be:

Fit out and build various electrical control panels to completion, have an understanding of the product or system being built to ensure it meets the business needs when complete. Follow schematic diagram to be able to wire from point to point as per the schematic diagrams Wire motors, pumps and all other ancillary equipment associated with electrical control panels Reading AUTO CAD electrical drawings and marking updates are required Assist with deskilling standard product builds.
Assist in kiosk area with fitting containment and wiring.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

Experience in relevant industry An awareness of health and safety issues An accurate, methodical approach and an eye for detail Must be able to read and understand schematic diagrams Reading AUTO CAD electrical drawings and marking updates are required To work with others as part of a team and individuals To use initiative to problem solve and get the job done Experienced level of judgement making and ability to prioritise and manage work load. Communicate at all levels with engineers Project managers and design team Written and oral communications skills Able to initiate dialog with wide range of personnel to obtain information and close issues. Proactive in approach to work

Additional Information

You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools. You will be required to stand for a length of time.
