Job Description – Fitter / Wireman
Our client is a marker leader that works with the intergration of automated solutions into different industries such as Automotive and Marine. They are seeking a Fitter / Wireman to join the team. As a Fitter / Wireperson you will be responsible for the high-quality and efficient wiring of control panels, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. You will be part of a dynamic team, working closely with engineers and management to deliver projects on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities – Fitter / Wireman

Wire control panels efficiently and accurately using schematic drawings
Build copperwork and fit components to engineer specifications
Lead site installations and retrofits, guiding teams as needed
Ensure jobs meet quality, safety, and timeframe standards
Use hand and power tools proficiently
Report drawing changes or issues to engineers and management
Maintain a tidy, organized workshop area
Support production processes and ERP software tasks
Foster positive relationships with team, customers, and suppliers
Qualifications & Requirements – Fitter / Wireman

Relevant qualification and 5+ years in a similar role
Deadline-focused with strong attention to detail and efficiency
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
Excellent communication skills for working with clients and team members at all levels
Proactive and eager to learn
Able to stand for long periods
Knowledgeable about health and safety in a workshop setting
Full UK driving license
