£30,000 - £35,000 per annum plus Shift Allowance where applicable

EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting a skilled Panel Wirer to join an exciting company located in Wolverhampton, working on a permanent basis.

Due to the nature of the work & industries supported within this position, candidates may be subject to requiring security clearances, therefore, our client is unable to support visa applications from residents outside of the UK. Only applications meeting this criteria will be considered.

Key Benefits on offer:

  • £ 30,000 to £35,000 per annum plus Shift Allowance

  • Shifts: Days Monday to Thursday 6.00am to 2.30pm and Fridays 6.00am to 10.30am (5% Shift Allowance) rotating to Monday to Thursday 2.00pm to 10.00pm and Fridays 10.30am to 6.00pm (10% Shift Allowance)

  • Overtime available at premium rates

  • 33 days annual leave with the opportunity to accrue 5 additional days

    EMBS Engineering is in partnership with an innovative engineering company located in Wolverhampton belonging to an internationally recognised, market-leading business that supports world-renowned industry leaders.

    Your responsibilities include:

  • Arranging electrical components within control panels

  • Installing cable management systems such as trays, trunking, and conduits, ensuring adherence to industry safety and quality standards

  • Operating hand tools, power tools, and crimping equipment according to industry standards, while coordinating with internal teams to fulfill project needs

    Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

  • 16th, 17th or 18th Edition Electrical Safety Certificate

  • Previous experience wiring control panels

  • Ability to work using own initiative

  • Worked within an engineering/manufacturing environment

  • Experience working on special purpose machinery, large control panels, bespoke units and components would be preferable

    Desirable:

  • Experience working on-site

  • Experience working with MEWP, PASMA, Harness, Forklift, Scissor lift, Scaffold
