We are partnering with a leading engineering company specialising in the design and manufacture of bespoke products tailored to the unique needs of customers across a variety of sectors – including automotive, aerospace, medical, and industrial applications. Due to continued growth, the business is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Administrator to support our busy team.

About the Role:
This is a varied and fast-paced role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth administrative processes across the business. A core part of your responsibilities will include sales order processing – managing customer orders from receipt through to delivery, liaising with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities:



Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using internal systems

Coordinate with production, engineering, and dispatch teams to track order progress

*

Act as a point of contact for customer enquiries related to orders, lead times, and product specifications

*

Maintain accurate customer records and documentation

*

Assist with generating quotes, order acknowledgements, and invoices

*

Support the wider admin team with general office duties including filing, data entry, diary management and travel arrangements for senior colleagues

*

Ensure compliance with internal procedures and quality standards

What We’re Looking For:

*

Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within engineering or manufacturing

*

Familiarity with sales order processing or working with customer order systems (SAGE exoerience desireable)

*

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

*

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

*

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

*

A team player with a flexible and proactive attitude
