We are seeking a skilled NDT Inspector to perform tests and inspecting products at various stages of the production process. The role focuses on non-destructive testing to ensure the quality and integrity of materials and products. The successful candidate will work closely with the Quality Manager to maintain high standards.

Who This Job Would Suit:
This position would suit a detail-oriented professional with experience in non-destructive testing within manufacturing or engineering environments. If you have a background in industries like aerospace, MOD, or nuclear, and hold relevant qualifications, this role offers a challenging opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform various non-destructive tests predominantly focused on Radiographic Testing (RT) with digital interpretation.
Set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment and ensure its correct operation.
Review part prints, procedures, and work instructions to complete testing accurately.
Document reports and implement corrective and preventative actions as needed.
Coordinate with the Quality Manager to address quality issues and ensure compliance with company processes.
Requirements:

PCN Level 2 in Radiographic Testing (RT) is essential
Proven experience in an NDT / NDE role
Ability to interpret specifications & engineering drawings
Ability to use Quality instruments; weld gauges, micrometres, steel ruler, etc.Location: South Manchester
Permanent
Full Time, (Apply online only) (Mon-Thurs), (Apply online only) (Fri)
Salary: £47k - £52k + Overtime
Benefits: 7% Pension Contributions, 4% from candidate, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
