Division info:

The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.

Summary of position:

Job Purpose:
To carry out non-destructive testing (NDT) on aerospace components and assemblies to ensure compliance with stringent industry standards and airworthiness requirements, without compromising the integrity of the parts.

Main responsibilities:

• Perform NDT inspections using approved methods such as Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT), Penetrant Testing (PT)
• Interpret and evaluate results in accordance with aerospace standards EASA Part , AS0, NADCAP). ASTMEI MPI + ASTM E 7 Liquid Penetrant Testing.
• Ensure all inspections are carried out in line with customer specifications, OEM requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and generate detailed reports for traceability and audit purposes.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Maintain NDT equipment in accordance with internal procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Participate in internal and external audits NADCAP, CAA).
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Level 2 NDT certification–in accordance with NAS / EN 9 preferred.

• Strong understanding of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and defect identification.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and NDT procedures.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in computer systems for reporting and documentation.
