About the Role:We are looking for a Market Development Representative (f/m/d) to join our team with a focus on Aerospace and Defence (A&D) for the United Kingdom and into Europe. In this role, you will be driving innovation at the forefront of our efforts to capture Gore product content on significant commercial and defence programs.

Your primary focus will be identifying and engaging targeted end users, influencers, and teaming partners to develop and implement capture plans intended to increase Gore’s probability of business win and success.

This is a remote position, and you can work from your home office in most locations within the UK.

Responsibilities: 

Develop strategy, capture plans and lead the execution in pursuit of multiple large, complex programme opportunities within UK Defence Agencies, Defence contractors, and Commercial Aircraft Companies Engage with Gore A&D leadership to develop and refine overall strategy for future business growth. This includes leading strategy sessions for particular customer communities (Air Force, Army, Navy, UKMOD, NATO) to ensure that Gore is aligned to end user, acquisition and capability requirements, and B2B influencers Influence requirements based on end user, system, and Gore insights by synchronizing and driving impactful responses to government solicitations Engage with Gore A&D Regional Sales Leader and Sales Associates to support opportunities that have transitioned from Market Development Captures to discrete, high probability sales team opportunities in Sales Force  Bring the voice of the customer to Gore’s A&D technical team to drive a new product pipeline that will align Gore’s product development with customer roadmaps over the next 10 years

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management or engineering 10+ years' sales experience with Business to Government or comparable military experience with Government to Government sales  Proven ability to assess complex and/or emerging markets and to identify and qualify credible demand opportunities  Proven ability to define, develop, and manage cross-functional and cross-organizational partnerships to deliver measurable results on market development Proven ability to influence, manage performance, and resolve conflicts without authority and across functional and organisational lines  Large customer network across the UKMOD and UK defence aerospace eco system and Industry Ability to influence and engage both internally and externally at the senior leadership level (VP, Director, Flag Officer, PEO, PMA, Chief Engineer) Conditional on gaining a UKMOD Security Check (SC)  Ability to travel up to 25% 

Desired Qualifications: 

5+ years experience with program management Necessary Security Clearances Experience influencing government requirements & submitting government proposals

This position requires access to information or items that are export controlled under U.S. law. Any offer will be conditioned upon Gore obtaining export control authorization for the candidate under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), as required by the position.

Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates, with prior appropriate approval and compliance with Gore’s remote working policies and additional documents, from the country in which they are employed.​
