Summary: Due to continued growth, Kurt J Lesker EMEIA is looking to add an additional member to their Senior Leadership Team. The current Managing Director will step into a Vice President position, leaving an excellent opportunity for a new Managing Director to join the team.  This is a unique opportunity to join a business with the stability and support of an established leadership team in place and on a high growth trajectory. This position will be based from our EMEIA Headquarters in Hastings, East Sussex. The EMEIA Managing Director will control and oversee all EMEIA business operations, people and ventures. They will develop plans and policies that help the company achieve its objectives. They will design and drive business strategies, advise the board and implement business plans to accomplish organisational goals. They will lead the EMEIA Senior Leadership Team and work in collaboration with Division Heads and Global Executives to meet or exceed company/division goals. How you will contribute: Overall responsibility for the EMEIA regional P&L Business development to meet the corporate goals for revenue, gross profit and pre-tax net income Working in collaboration with “EMEIA Vice President” to define the long-range vision for the EMEIA region Leading the regional strategic planning process and executing the company’s business strategies Owning and driving the EMEIA budget Aligning the EMEIA regional functional areas of the business with the global functional areas Creating, executing and monitoring the performance of comprehensive business plans Overseeing the investments, business ventures and financial performance of the company Establishing long-lasting relationships with stakeholders, partners, local authorities and regulators Representing the company at public events and attending conferences Overall responsibility for EMEIA regional Human Resources Interfacing with key strategic customers and vendors in region Proactively managing risk identification and mitigation Driving the KJLC SPIRIT Culture About You: Required Proven record of success in a Senior Leadership role or Managing Director Position Transferable industry experience, ability to develop technical product and customer knowledge to advance company position and engage in customer/vendor interactions where required Extensive knowledge of financial and business management techniques Commercial awareness and deep understanding of the factors that influence the company’s business Ability to balance conflicting interests and perform in high-pressure situations Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills Proficiency in developing and implementing strategic and business plans Excellent communication skills, the ability lead and coach Strong organisational and execution skills Benefits we offer to enhance your lifestyle: Competitive salary 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Matched pension up to 5% Private Health Insurance Subsidised Gym Membership Health Cash Plan offering £600 per annum towards your standard healthcare costs for both you and your family, plus access to a free 24-hour doctor service Income protection insurance Cycle to work scheme Enhanced maternity/paternity pay Corporate, wellness and charity events throughout the year with the option to earn an extra day of annual leave Fully funded training/qualification Please note we have a PSL in place and are unable to accept speculative CV's from recruitment agencies.
