Logistics Operative

Location: Near Stadhampton, Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to £26,500 per annu,
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 5:00pm; Friday, 8:00am – 12:00pm (PLEASE NOTE - IN 2026 THIS ROLE WILL TRANSITION TO A 4 ON, 4 OFF SHIFT) 
Contract Type: Full-time, permanent
Start Date: ASAP (notice periods considered)

We’re recruiting for a Logistics Operative to join a leading aerospace manufacturer near Stadhampton. This is a hands-on role supporting critical logistics operations across goods in, internal transport, kitting and shipping. It’s an opportunity to work as part of a collaborative, safety-conscious team supporting the production of life-saving technology.

Logistics Operative Duties

Process pick lists and manually kit explosive and hardware components

Operate Kardex storage systems and maintain SAP stock accuracy

Book in incoming goods and deliver them to appropriate departments

Move assemblies and kits between departments in line with the production plan

Palletise, label and prepare shipments including dangerous goods documentation

Support the shipping team to ensure accurate and timely dispatch of customer orders

Logistics Operative Profile

Logistics or warehouse experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems

Basic understanding of engineering drawings and documentation

Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills

Forklift or Manitou licence beneficial (training can be provided)

A team player who is proactive and keen to learn
