Junior UK Account Manager – Chesterfield 🚀

Contract: 6-Month Secondment (with potential for permanent role)

🌟 About the Role:

Reporting to the Lead UK Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving business growth by managing and developing customer relationships, handling enquiries, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic commercial environment with a clear path to a permanent position.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sales strategies and forecasts

Maintain and grow existing customer relationships

Respond to sales enquiries and provide accurate quotations

Oversee key customer activities including sales, delivery, forecasting, and stock management

Achieve or exceed gross profit targets

Act as a daily point of contact for customers and internal teams

Collaborate with Operations, Accounts, and Purchasing to ensure seamless order fulfilment

Manage administrative tasks to ensure timely payments

👤 What We’re Looking For:

A general business qualification or relevant experience

Strong numeracy and grammar skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

A self-starter with a proactive attitude and attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

A customer-focused mindset with a passion for service excellence

Internal: Sales, Production, Procurement, Quality, and IT

External: Customers

🌍 Working Environment:

Based at the Chesterfield facility, with very occasional travel required.
