Vanta Staffing are working with an award winning manufacturer who provide bespoke solutions to their wide array of clients and, due to a number of new exciting projects, are looking to strengthen their engineering team with a methodically minded engineer who enjoys researching new ideas and provide feasibility studies to new products used in the many industries including motor sports & health amongst many more

The successful Innovation Engineer duties will include;

Collaborate with internal departments (production, sales & engineer) to understand the client’s needs & demands, discuss possible solutions and provide feasibility studies of the potential product
Use CAD software to design potential solutions
Contribute to all new product introduction meetings to discuss potential areas of concern & improvement
Work with commercial teams to provide estimations on costs & time of the projects
Work to current standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
Ad-here to all workshop SOP’s and co’ health and safety procedures
Communicate with team leaders, managers and clients to ensure streamlined production

Required experience & characteristics of the Innovation Engineer;

Understanding of engineering or manufacturing principles
Ideally, an engineering qualification
STRONG Commutation skills, written & verbal
Strong IT Skills, ideally AutoCAD knowledge
Reliable, committed & enthusiastic
Methodical & practical thinker
Live within commutable distance to High Wycombe
Reliable & conscientious
Courteous, polite & professional
