Job Description:

Manage indirect procurement activities whilst ensuring minimal spend.

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day indirect purchasing activities (request for quotes, purchase orders placement and follow-up, communication with suppliers.
Competitive bid all indirect requirements, coming via electronic purchase requisitions from the MRP, from the other teams or via the capital expenditure form
Supplier onboarding and compliance maintenance
On-site contractors documentation management
Coordination with the on-site integrated supplier (daily to-buy report + management of the on-site team + cost saving activities)
Deal with customs and logistics queries, including customs clearance forms
People onboarding: Business cards, safety shoes, workwear management
Represent the Purchasing team during audits
Identify cost savings opportunities and action them
Build and maintain strong relationships with key indirect suppliers
Identify indirect inventory reduction opportunities and action them
Ensure compliance to sourcing and contracting policies, procedures, risk management programs, and ethics.
Knowledge and Skills:

Experience in indirect procurement in manufacturing environment
Good business acumen
Some progression towards CIPS
