Head of Electronic and Electrical Engineering

Job Description

For this role we are looking for a dynamic leader to play a pivotal role in driving the strategic and operational excellence of the Electronic and Electrical Engineering function. As the Head of department you will lead technical innovation, cultivate a high-performance culture, and ensure the delivery of engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team, fostering technical excellence and career growth.
  • Contribute to enhancing the engineering process, ensure governance, and implement best practices across projects and the team.
  • Provide guidance in bids, estimates, and a strategic oversight of the engineering projects.
  • Develop the engineering skills within the team through your own technical understanding and integrate industry trends.
  • Oversee the recruitment and team capacity planning to meet project demands.
  • Drive cost-effective engineering solutions in collaboration with the production teams.

  • Ability to develop and lead high performing teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of Electronic and Electrical Engineering with the ability to provide technical direction.
