Head of Sales, Precision Engineering Services, up to £85,000 Basic salary plus bonuses, car and full package. Hybrid role covering the UK with a HQ in Birmingham (2 days per week).

A well-established leader in precision engineering solutions is seeking a Head of Sales to lead the current sales team and drive growth. With a history spanning several decades, the company offers highly engineered solutions to various industries, including high-performance automotive, aerospace, defense, and marine sectors. This role reports directly to the board and involves taking over the existing sales team and developing the go-to-market strategy.

In Return, as the Head of Sales, You Will Receive

Basic salary of up to £85,000. There will be flexibility beyond this for some with perfect experience and a relevant contact base.
Car allowance or company car
7% pension contributions

22 days holiday (increasing to 27 days over 5 years)What is Needed to Apply to the Role of Head of Sales, Precision Engineering

  1. A stellar career in technical sales with experience selling to various industries.

  2. Proven sales leadership experience - recruiting, managing, coaching, mentoring and measuring.

  3. Experience within precision engineering. Your sales backgrounds will be from one or more of the following: 3D printing services, rapid prototyping services, CNC Milling, 5-Axis Machining, injection moulding, EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining), Tool and Jig Manufacturing, Prototype Design Services, rubber moulding, compression moulding, Micro-Machining, Laser Cutting, Honing and Lapping, transfer moulding, Reverse Engineering, Tooling Design, Superfinishing, Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) moulding, vacuum moulding, toolmaking services or similar.

    The required personality and character traits are:

    To succeed in this role, you need to be technically proficient and capable of engaging in conversations that build trust with R&D engineers.
    Since this is a highly autonomous position, exceptional organisational and time management skills are essential.
    As a sales leader, you should adopt a proactive mindset and demonstrate discipline, credibility, and high integrity.
    After completing a comprehensive induction process, you will be expected to quickly 'hit the ground running' and effectively manage yourself and your team according to your own key performance indicators (KPIs).To apply:
