Are you an experienced Leader who enjoys building a team?

We are looking for a people-focused Engineering Manager who will:

Provide strong and dynamic leadership to the engineering maintenance teams, building on the strong foundations that have been developed over recent years

Have the ability to look at the whole business, not just their individual departmental status and have a logical and data driven approach to problem solving and continuous improvement

Ensure that the company’s equipment, infrastructure and buildings are maintained to the required company standard – covering three sites in Skegness and Louth (two industrial laundry and one manufacturing site)

Locate and purchase new or modify existing equipment as necessary to meet the company’s operational demands

Contribute to the growth of the company by championing Engineering improvements and new technologies.  Their passion is to be the first to develop new technological solutions that change the shape of the markets they serve, creating quality and efficiency for their customers

Drive effective data driven problem solving for both internal issues and customer concerns utilising a structured approach (eg: Toyota 8 step model or Ford 8D)

Have a Full Driving Licence

Minimum HND / HNC qualified within engineering or equivalent

PC skills including CAD, modelling software, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

This role would suit a qualified multi-disciplined Engineer with proven management experience, who has the ability to coach and train others on a structured approach to problem solving.

The Engineering Manager will be a lateral thinker that can innovate and create alternative solutions to resolve long-term issues and have a proactive attitude to drive the department forward.

Our client are one of the largest providers of workwear solutions and cleanroom consumables within the UK into pharmaceutical, medical, aerospace engineering, automotive and manufacturing industries..

The company also manufactures and distributes an extensive range of cleanroom consumable products worldwide. The company has an ambitious and clear growth vision and has built its first factory outside of the UK in India.
