Overview:

We’re seeking an experienced Satellite Systems Engineering Lead to lead a dynamic team of engineers, whilst driving the development of cutting-edge space-based communication technologies. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions for exploration missions and next-generation satellite systems.

Key Responsibilities:

* Leadership & Team Management: Oversee, mentor, and develop the communications systems team, ensuring programmes are appropriately resourced and engineers are supported in their career growth.

* Technical Excellence: Own the communications systems engineering process, lead project reviews, and provide systems engineering leadership for high-profile projects.

* Systems Engineering: Interface with customers and subcontractors, capture and manage requirements, develop solutions, and analyse performance to deliver verified flight equipment.

* Project Oversight: Supervise design, integration, testing, and documentation, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.

* Strategic Contribution: Provide input on cost and planning for bids and proposals, while helping shape technology roadmaps and innovation strategies.
