Document Controller / Admin Support

We’re looking for a Document Controller / Admin Support to join our dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of project documentation for major clients like National Grid, Electricity Northwest, and Morrisons Energy Services. As a Document Controller / Technical Administrator, you’ll work closely with the Senior Document Controller and project engineers to manage and maintain documentation and drawings in accordance with client and company standards. The Role:

• Assist in the delivery of Substation P&C Construction Packs
  
  
• Upload and download project documentation using SharePoint and client platforms
  
  
• Manage master drawings via National Grid’s EDMS (Livelink)
  
  
• Create and maintain transmittals, contract drawing lists, and audit documentation
  
  
• Liaise with engineers, clients, and external partners to resolve drawing issues
  
  
• Ensure all documents conform to client procedures and standards
  
  
• Use AutoCAD and Adobe to view and print drawings
  
  
• Maintain internal systems including Skills Matrix and Authorisation Records
  
  
• Prepare and issue construction packs based on client requirements
  
  
• Perform general admin duties such as scanning, modifying documents, and raising purchase orders
  
  
• Support project delivery through careful monitoring and organisation of all project folders
  
  About You:
  
  
• Experience with document management systems such as SharePoint, Aconex, Viewpoint, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Projectwise, or EDMS is essential
  
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  
  
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
  
  
• A team player who enjoys solving problems and bringing fresh ideas to the table
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to documentation compliance
