Design Engineer required for Cheltenham based company paying c£39,000 + 25 days holiday + the bank holidays, pension and DiS. Working hours Monday to Friday, with an early finish on a Friday.

The Company

They see a project through from concept to finished product. and are leading the way in making their product range more AI/Robotic operated. They supply to leading manufacturers both in the UK and Globally and have a broad range of clients supplying to major players within the automotive, aerospace, gas sectors as well as small independent companies. As an employer, they genuinely value the staff that work for them and provide the safest and cleanest working environment possible and have a genuine open door policy, where everyone is encouraged to play a part in the companies continued success. With a workforce of around 30, you certainly won't be just a number but a valued employee who can make a difference.

As Design Engineer for this company your duties will include the following:

  • design of tools, fixtures and machine parts using Solid Works 3D CAD system

  • creating costing models for the sales team

  • liaise with customer, distributor or agent on design / technical queries

  • liaise with machine build

  • tooling development

  • bring in new methods and processes and training

  • involvement of R&D projects to further enhance our clients standing in the market place
