CNC Grinder & Programmer (Fanuc) - Lead Role

Up to £36,000 (days role)

Yolk Recruitment is proud to support this exciting opportunity for a skilled CNC Grinder & Programmer to take on a leadership role within a growing production team. As they continue expanding, they are looking for a skilled machinist to join the business.

Key responsibilities:

Perform CNC and manual grinding duties to high specifications.
Program Fanuc-controlled CNC machines to ensure precision machining.
Be a cell leader overseeing resource planning and staff development.
Ensure clear and effective communication within the production team and with management.
Play an active role in continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency and growth.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workplace in accordance with company standards.
Adhere to documentation protocols to maintain traceability and quality control.
Manage and schedule preventive maintenance to maximize machine uptime.
Uphold high standards of workmanship, ensuring all parts meet specified tolerances and dimensions.And this is what you'll need:

Experience using Fanuc machines.
Experience with manual grinding.
Experience in a supervisory role.And this is what you'll get:

Early finish on Friday's.
Overtime availability.
Healthcare plan.
