Job title: CNC/Manual Grinder

Location: Bristol

Salary: £15-17ph

We are working with a family-owned machining company who is currently expanding their team and their investment in industry leading machine tools is complemented by their knowledge, expertise and attention to detail. Their continuous development within the organisation and specialist team lets them continue to compete in a rapidly evolving industry that has an exciting future ahead.

Responsibilities:

Setting up & Preparing Grinder
Operating Jones and Shipman Machines.
Wheel balancing.
Radius dressing.
Read Engineering Drawings
Complete 1st off checks ready for CMM Inspection
Grinding various exotic material components to tight tolerances
Grinding between centres.Skills & Experience.

Previous experience in a similar position as a CNC/manual grinder
Previous manual machining experience
Good working knowledge of manufacturing techniques and complex engineering drawings
Previous aerospace experienceHours of Work, Remuneration and Benefits

37 hours per week - Monday to Friday, early finish on Friday

Mon -Thu 07:30 a.m. - 16:00 pm. Fri 07:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Overtime (when available) paid at time and half.
Annual Leave 25 days + Bank Holidays.
