A well-established company based in Runcorn is seeking a Business and Purchasing Administrator to join its team. This is a dual-role position with a strong emphasis on behaviours - we believe that with the right mindset, the skills can be learned.
As Business Administrator, key responsibilities will be to: -

  • Manage a portfolio of suppliers to ensure items and services are delivered on time, in full, and to the right quality and cost.
  • Support cost-reduction and supply chain improvement initiatives.
  • Take ownership of specific suppliers and purchasing sectors.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports, including Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) statistics.
  • Organise and administer yearly audit schedules across SHE, Quality, and Environmental functions.
  • Maintain key business databases and support complaint tracking and KPI reporting.
    The successful candidate will: -
  • Have experience in business administration.
  • Ideally have knowledge or experience in purchasing - but not essential.
  • Have strong communication skills (written, phone, and in-person).
  • Stay focused on priorities and work to deadlines.
  • Be able to build positive working relationships across a business.
