Multi-skilled Building Maintenance Engineer - Harley Street

We're seeking a versatile Building Maintenance Engineer to join our Estates team at our new Harley Street facility. This role is essential in delivering top-tier maintenance services across the hospital and satellite sites, covering reactive, scheduled, and project-based work.

About the Role: You'll ensure the smooth operation of critical systems and infrastructure, contributing directly to our mission of improving human life. This is more than just a maintenance role-it's a chance to be part of a purpose-driven team that supports exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and service electrical and mechanical systems (AHUs, AC units, emergency lighting, fire alarms, generators).
Conduct daily checks and planned preventive maintenance (PPM).
Ensure compliance with safety policies and maintain a clean, operational plant area.
Perform water hygiene tasks (flushing, temperature checks) per Water Risk Assessment.
Manage and prioritize tasks via the CAFM system, including emergency and reactive maintenance.
Liaise with landlords and contractors, attend meetings, and oversee on-site works.
Review RAMs, issue permits, and support project work as needed.What You'll Bring:

Relevant qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQ in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or building services; mechanical/plumbing preferred).
Experience in hospital or similar environments.
Knowledge of BMS systems, water hygiene, fire regulations, Health & Safety, and COSHH.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
