About the company?

With just over 10 offices around the UK, this Building Services Design specific consultancy are now looking to complement their Birmingham office and growing Sustainability team with an experienced Building Physics / Sustainability Engineer. With around 60 members of staff in their Birmingham office; all working towards a common goal, you will be part of a specific team working on a sound range of local and national projects – complex, big and cutting edge!

We’re looking for individuals with experience on larger commercial projects, rather than domestic schemes. Education, healthcare and university projects are their bread and butter, so having experience in similar sectors would be huge advantageous.

They’re currently working on the University of Oxford’s biggest building to date, Satellite testing facilities, Innovation centres and Science parks, so if you’d like to get involved in these schemes, give me a call!

They cover all areas of Building Services Engineering and sustainability – offering a huge range of services within sustainability, including building physics, decarbonisation, LCA and BREEAM to name a few. For this position we’re looking for someone with solid building physics experience but someone who can also lend a hand in other services.

They are embracing the newest of technologies and software packages such as IES and have an incredibly clear progression / development programme for you to rise through the business. If you are looking to move into management positions and feel like you are at the top of your game in design, there is plenty of room for you to grow here.

Ideally 7+ years’ experience working in the Building Services arena
