Chartered/Senior Structural Engineer - Lead a New Satellite Office in Leicester
Hinckley, Leicestershire
£50,000 - £60,000 + bonus + benefits

An established engineering consultancy is seeking a Chartered or Incorporated Senior Structural Engineer with at least 6+ years' industry experience to lead the development of a new satellite office in Hinkley, Leicestershire. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated professional to take on a leadership role within a growing organization, with the potential for shareholder involvement.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design of various building structures, including residential extensions, new builds, and small commercial projects (up to five storeys).
Conduct structural surveys and prepare reports on building defects such as cracks, subsidence, fire damage, impact, and storm damage.
Manage and oversee the technical delivery of projects, working closely with senior management.
Play a pivotal role in establishing and expanding the Leicester office, contributing to the company's strategic growth.
Candidate Requirements:

Chartered or Incorporated Member of a relevant professional body (e.g., ICE, IStructE).
Proven experience in structural design and surveying.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
