The Opportunity A sector leading consultancy is delivering a major infrastructure programme within the nuclear sector and is seeking an experienced HVAC Designer to join their team in Warrington. This is a long-term opportunity to contribute to a high-profile programme focused on modernising and expanding secure storage capabilities.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team working across the full project lifecycle.
We would welcome applications from these industries: nuclear, defence, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, and aerospace. 

This role would suit candidates working in these roles: Mechanical Designer, HVAC Engineer, Building Services Designer, MEP Coordinator, Revit Technician, CAD Designer, Mechanical Design Engineer, BIM Technician, Piping Designer, or Plant Layout Designer.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Developing HVAC design solutions from concept through to manufacture and installation 
Creating detailed technical drawings and 3D models for HVAC and MEP systems 
Producing isometric piping layouts and installation drawings 
Generating and managing BIM content for HVAC, plumbing, and pipework systems 
Performing quantity take-offs and preparing schedules.You will have the following qualifications and experience 
Experienced user of Revit and AutoCAD software.
Good communication skills, and able to interface with external and internal stakeholders.
Experience of highly regulated environments would be advantageous
Experience completing PFDs/VFDs.
Experience using using AutoCAD for circa 8months.
Familiarity of Aveva products (E3D).
