Static Engineer Locations Wembley

My client has been in the HVAC industry for over 45 years now. We specialise in commercial chillers, boilers and air conditioning. In the last 10 years, we have also moved with the industry into FM services and more recently District Energy.
We have experienced growth in a new sector within our industry which we are calling Energy Services. We have been working for two major players within the district energy business, servicing sites around London. We have successfully tendered a static contract at a landmark site in London for which we now need to recruit a static team to deliver a first-class service to our customers.

Therefore, they want to recruit static mechanical/electrical engineers to help in the running of this contract.
They believe a dedicated team is a correct approach to meeting our customer's needs. This team will also be backed up by our mobile Heating, Chiller and mechanical engineers as and when required.
We're convinced that great companies are powered by great people and led by inspired leaders; individuals who are authentic, who embrace new ideas, share mutual respect and are keen to make a difference. You will need to be able to demonstrate high levels of craftsmanship, knowledge, be able to work alone on a wide range of equipment as well as being able to supervise others when needed. An eye for detail and quality is important to ensure we deliver the best for our clients.

Some of the duties included are:

  • To carry out planned maintenance within the energy centre, satellite plant rooms, risers and corridors
  • Responding to reactive call outs and attending site to fix
  • Some of the Mechanical duties include pump overhauls, valve and pipework repairs, vibration analysis, PHEX maintenance, fixing leaks, belt and pully alinement checks, fault finding, boiler checks, water treatment / temperature monitoring and constantly looking for ways to reduce the overall cost of production
  • Some of the Electrical Duties include motor testing, BMS monitoring, meter checks, fault finding and constantly looking for ways to reduce the overall cost of production
  • Servicing AHU's, FCU's, pumps, inverters, adiabatic coolers, valves, Sidestream filters, PHEX, pipework and a good working knowledge of all other M&E & HVAC
  • Good understanding of L8/Legionella
  • Be a good problem solver and ability to fault find and rectify
  • Manage subcontractors and the company's other technical resources
  • Oversee Health & Safety in line with our client's systems
  • Develop quotations for additional works and repairs as required
One of our key selling points is that we don't just go through the motions with planned maintenance, but instead look for ways to continually improve asset performance. We have some of the best market-leading optimisation software on the market, that stands us apart from our competition which is important, but we need the best engineers onboard to help us find and deliver exceptional results.

One of your first jobs will be to familiarise yourself with the site and assist in asset verification. Implementing a full and accurate PPM and asset management system is something we want all our engineers involved in, so you understand the importance of what we are trying to achieve. Thi
Core Values we want you to have and be able to demonstrate:
  • Commitment
  • Passion
  • Hard-working
  • Disciplined
  • Trustworthy
  • Dynamic
  • Positive attitude
  • Initiative
