Avionics Technician - Aerospace Test and Integration

The Role – Avionics Technician


The role covers the production of aircraft harness and cable assemblies under UK CAA Part 21G regulations, component repair and maintenance within the scope of Part 145 approval, and to ensure the production and supplier performance meet compliance and contractual obligations.


You will provide professional, efficient, organised, and flexible support to the Nova Systems International Aerospace and Integration leadership and management team, providing quality and timely support to team members across the business. Accordingly, you play an integral part in achieving longer-term profit and growth for the business.

Essential Skills & Experience


· Good technical understanding supported by a relevant technical degree, HNC or equivalent aerospace experience.


· Strong and demonstrated understanding of avionics practices for aerospace production and maintenance, and aircraft modification.


· Ability to present open, honest, and constructive communication with staff and suppliers.


· High emotional intelligence, concise verbal and written communication skills and effective questioning/listening skills to both technical and non-technical audiences.


· Rigorous attention to detail and procedures.


· Ability to demonstrate innovative and ethical thinking in the application of solutions.


· Ability to deliver tasks on time and with a high degree of autonomy and accuracy, whilst maintaining momentum under pressure.


· Demonstrates a commitment to personal and professional development.


· Eligibility to work in the UK with eligibility for security clearance if required.


· UK Drivers Licence

Desirable Experience


· Understanding and experience of working in an aerospace regulated environment.


· Advanced IT literacy and be fully competent with full suite of Microsoft Office tools and industry standard planning tools.


· Good understanding of civil regulations pertaining to aircraft parts and aerospace materials.
