Mission:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated UAV Avionics Technician to join our dynamic
team. The ideal candidate will have experience in avionics maintenance, a
willingness to travel and be deployed internationally for up to 8 weeks at a time, and
the adaptability to cross-train as part of the validations team in roles such as Remote
Pilot in Charge, Remote Pilot, Maintenance Technician, or Ground Crew.

What are your main responsibilities:


  • Perform maintenance, inspection, testing, and repair of UAV systems and components to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural.   UAV components using diagnostic tools like multi-meters and circuit testers.
  • Install and update firmware/software packages for UAV systems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance checks to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
  • Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications accurately.
  • Collaborate with engineers, pilots, and ground crews for seamless operations.
  • Participate in cross-training programs to support validations roles such as piloting or ground crew tasks.

Profile and Requirements:


  • Degree or certification in STEM fields (e.g., engineering, electronics, robotics).
  • Proven experience in avionics maintenance or UAV systems.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Clean driving license and ability to obtain security clearance.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Language Requirements: Advanced proficiency in English, with proven fluency at the C2 level .

Preferred Skills:


  • Familiarity with UAV flight controllers, sensors, GPS modules, and software updates.
  • Hands-on experience with diagnostics tools and soldering/board-level repairs.
  • Ability to read technical schematics and troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Experience in UAV trials.

Additional Requirements:


  • Knowledge of flight safety and regulations desired but not essential.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for deployments.
  • Comfortable working in field-based environments under varying conditions.
