Job Advert: Assembly Operative – Aerospace Manufacturing

Location: Denham

Salary: £27,000 – £28,000 + up to £8,000 overtime

We’re hiring an Assembly Operative to join a leading aerospace manufacturer at our Denham site. This hands-on role is critical to the production and testing of precision components used in cutting-edge ejection seats that help save aircrew lives around the world.

The Role:

Working within the Fitting Shop, you’ll be responsible for assembling and inspecting mechanical components as part of the seat build process. Duties include:

Assembling components from prepared kits to tight tolerances

Inspecting and testing parts using gauges and automated inspection tools

Reading engineering drawings to ensure accurate builds

Masking and preparing components for aluminium oxide blasting

Bonding and oven-curing parts using industrial adhesives

Conducting final quality checks before components move to the next stage

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in assembly and inspection of mechanical parts

Ability to interpret engineering drawings

Understanding of health & safety procedures, QAI, and COSHH regulations

Familiarity with inspection tools and measuring equipment

Basic manufacturing or engineering background

SAP experience is an advantage

Strong attention to detail and a proactive, team-oriented mindset

What’s on Offer:
