Exciting Opportunity: Assembly Operative Sought for Cutting-Edge Aerospace Company

This company is seeking an exceptional Assembly Operative to join their Fitting Shop team at their Denham site. About the Role: Assembly Operative (Fitting Shop)

As an Assembly Operative in the Fitting Shop, you'll be responsible for a variety of critical processes that contribute to the production and testing of the company's world-renowned ejection seats. Your key duties will include:

Inspecting and testing products to precise tolerances and specifications using a range of gauges and inspection equipment
Assembling components and kits of parts to build complex assemblies
Masking components in preparation for blasting and bonding parts with specialist adhesives
Curing bonded assemblies and preparing them for final inspection

What We're Looking For

To excel as an Assembly Operative in this dynamic environment, you'll need:

Experience in the inspection and assembly of engineering components and assemblies
Familiarity with reading and interpreting engineering drawings
A background in manufacturing or engineering, with a strong understanding of health and safety, quality assurance, and COSHH regulations
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
SAP experience is desirable, but not essential
