The Role
We're looking for a Applications Engineer to serve as a vital bridge between technical teams and customers. From initial enquiry through to solution delivery, you'll ensure the customer journey is smooth, informed, and aligned with both commercial and engineering goals.

Key Responsibilities
*Qualify and manage new customer enquiries (commercial and technical)
*Support the creation of detailed quotations and proposals
*Maintain accuracy of technical documentation
*Coordinate cross-functional activities between engineering and commercial teams
*Represent the company at industry exhibitions and on customer visits
*Leverage tools like LinkedIn and technical databases to evaluate customer potential
*Provide integration support on mechanical, electrical, and thermal system aspects
*Offer strategic input to product development

What You'll Bring
*Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
*Strong technical curiosity and attention to detail
*Experience delivering complex technical solutions end-to-end
*Independent, accountable, and proactive working style
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Organised and process-driven approach
*Familiarity with Python or technical tool development (desirable)
*Adaptability to a dynamic, evolving commercial landscape
*Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel internationally

Desirable Experience
*Aerospace or automotive background (especially Tier 1 or Tier 2 suppliers)
*Experience with electric motors, controllers, or propulsion systems
*Background in developing internal systems or tools
