We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our Modems and Software Defined Radio group at Airbus Defence and Space UK. You will report to the Engineering Manager and work on delivering a new product to the UK MOD. As this project is for the UK MOD, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance.

Responsibilities:

Develop system architecture design.
Allocate customer requirements to functional areas within the overall system design.
Generate sub-system specifications and Interface Control Documentation.
Create test strategies and test campaigns.
Develop test procedure documentation.
Investigate and resolve test failures.Skills Required:

Experience with mixed RF and baseband technologies.
Integration of software management systems.
Fault finding and investigation of test failures.Beneficial Skills:

Familiarity with system and software modeling tools (e.g., Enterprise Architect - SysML/UML).
Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORs).
Knowledge of system test hardware for RF and baseband diagnosis.
Interest in satellite communication systems or modem technology.To succeed in this role, you should embody Airbus Values, work with passion and determination, and be able to meet tight deadlines in a continuously improving environment. The ideal candidate will have:

HND or Bachelor of Engineering and typically 5+ years of professional experience.
Experience with high-level modeling languages (e.g., SysML, UML).
Familiarity with agile methodologies.
Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
