Quality Compliance Engineer
Location: Basingstoke
Salary: £38,000 £40,000 Bonus

Are you passionate about quality and compliance? Do you have a background in electronics and a desire to make a real impact across multiple manufacturing sites? Were looking for a proactive and detail-driven Quality & Compliance Engineer to join a growing UK-based electronics manufacturer as they launch a new, state-of-the-art facility.

About the Role

In this pivotal role, you'll ensure products and processes meet the highest quality and regulatory standards, supporting operations across several UK sites. A strong foundation in electronics manufacturing is highly desirable, and a valid UK driving licence is essential due to the need for regular site visits.

Key Responsibilities

Define and implement quality standards across electronics production and processes

Conduct audits and inspections in line with ISO 9001, AS9100, and ISO 14001

Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions

Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS)

Collaborate with engineering, production, procurement, and other key departments

Support export control licensing and regulatory compliance

Travel regularly to sites in Ilminster, Melksham, Basingstoke, Bedford, and Thetford

What We're Looking For

Degree in engineering, quality management, or equivalent experience

Background in electronics manufacturing is highly desirable

Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 14001)

Proficient with quality tools and methodologies (Six Sigma, FMEA, 8D, Kaizen)

Experience in internal/external audits and export control licensing

Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and effective communicator

Full UK driving licence is required due to some multi-site travel
