Job Title: Principal Engineer
Location: Egham, Surrey
Salary: Up to £55,000 DOE
Hours: 39 hours per week (Mon-Thurs 8:00am-5:00pm, Fri 8:00am-1:00pm)

We're now looking for a Principal Engineer to join our engineering team in Egham. This is a key role in leading the technical and strategic development of our next-generation aerospace seating and systems - a perfect opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to take on more responsibility and make a real impact.

What You'll Do:

Lead internal development projects that push the boundaries of aircraft seating and systems

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver innovative engineering solutions

Drive technical strategy and help shape our long-term R&D roadmap

Approve detailed designs, certification packages, and CAD outputs using our PLM systems

Mentor and coordinate engineers working on cutting-edge programmes

Represent the engineering team in customer and supplier meetings

Support certification, qualification testing, and Airworthiness Authority submissions

Champion safety, compliance, and continuous improvement within the department

What You'll Bring:

A solid background in aerospace or a related engineering field

Experience managing complex technical projects from concept through to delivery

Familiarity with CAD systems and data management tools

A strong grasp of certification and qualification processes

Confident communicator and team coordinator, with a proactive mindset

A passion for innovation and high engineering standards
