The Role - Mechanical Design Engineer

We have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a successful Advanced Engineering business.

You will be focusing on engineering design of structures and sub-assemblies to be utilised in wider propulsion systems.

Duties - Mechanical Design Engineer

3D modelling and design of components/ systems.
Completion of manufacturing drawings.
Implementing design changes using Engineering Change Notices
Writing detailed assembly procedures and technical build information
Creating and maintaining build logs
Creating BoM’s and applying to MRP system.
Support design of electronics enclosures.

Background - Mechanical Design Engineer

Currently hold or be eligible for SC level clearance.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Preferably experience in the space and defence sector.
Competent use of SolidWorks
Good attention to detail
