Bates & Bradshaw are working in partnership with an employer who manufacture high performance electrical cable assemblies and control panels for defence, aerospace, marine, industrial and commercial applications.

Purpose of the Role

• Palletising and wrapping of finished goods.
  
  
• Loading and off-loading vehicles as required.
  
  
• Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas using pallet trucks and the forklift.
  
  
• Issue all materials to and from production in an accurate and timely manner using the systems provided.
  
  
• Returning materials back into stock locations from production in an accurate and timely manner.
  
  
• Assisting with the picking and Packing of orders.
  
  
• Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse.
  
  
• To be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work.
  
  
• Serving internal customers at the service desk with parts enquiries and issuing stock out for adhoc jobs.
  
  
• Annual stock takes and adhoc stock takes.
  
  
• Carry out such other duties that may be reasonably requested.
  
  About you:
  
  
• Proven experience in a Warehouse environment would be beneficial.
  
  
• A proven understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice and Health & Safety.
  
  
• Good Communication Skills.
  
  
• High level of attention to detail and documentation.
  
  Desirable:
  
  
• valid Fork Lift Truck certificate.
  
  
• Previous experience with inventory counting and stock taking.
  
  Essential:
  
  
• Experience on FLT
  
  
• Experience using computers / handheld devices
  
  
• Manual handling experience
