I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Solihull, seeking a Vehicle Integration Engineer to join their team.
Job Description
Leading cross functional integration reviews to demonstrate evidence of goodness across architecture and vehicle systems, ensuring failure modes resolved and lessons learned applied. Work with Central Systems Integration (CSI) to ensure compatibility of architecture & vehicle systems to deliver customer features to quality. Work with all Vehicle Attribute leads to ensure compatibility of attribute development activities to demonstrate the highest level of engineering verification integrity by the appropriate engineering milestones Lead the coordination and delivery of engineering activities to overcome incompatibilities Ensure the development of the architecture toolkit maintains compatibility with the architecture bandwidth and vehicle targets Support the simplification of our EMA technology toolkit and technical delivery activities. Contribute to the technical input and reporting out in key technical meetingsQualifications / Skills neededTechnical knowledge and experience of key vehicle systems and integration Relevant degree and experience in engineering or another highly technical discipline. Proven ability to work with technical data and x-functional teams to resolve technical problems Experience of technical analysis and demonstration of employing best-in-class processes wherever possible Technical knowledge and experience of complex product systems and interactions. Proven ability to work with technical data and x-functional teams to resolve technical problems. High level of IT literacy and proficient in the use of O365 tools Experience of working within an automotive engineering environment (or equivalent multiple discipline environment e.g Aerospace) Proven experience of demonstrating core foundation engineering principles to technical problems The ability to present data clearly and precisely to support decision making. Relevant degree and experience in engineering or another highly technical discipline
