Location: Birmingham, UK
Salary: £12.21
Hours of work : 08:00hr starts Monday to Friday

Job Type: temporary contract

Pertemps are currently recruiting for drivers on a spring/summer project up to 10 weeks, this specific role will be working in two man crews going across the country completing site visits and project work where there will be elements of outside working in all weather conditions this may be physically demanding and will involve large amounts of walking, this role will also involve staying out on a Monday to Friday basis where you will be put up in hotels.

As the face of the company, you will have excellent customer service skills and be able to work under pressure and in a team.

Driver responsibilities:

  • Drive nationwide with a good geographical knowledge including being able to read maps and follow satellite navigation
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and on time
  • Communicate with clients and provide excellent customer service
  • Be comfortable with outside working in all weather conditions
  • Maintain & look after the vehicle
  • Happy to do large amounts of walking
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet service and delivery targets
  • Working in teams of two a majority of the time

    Driver Requirements:

  • Clean driver's licence with one years' commercial driving experience
  • An element of physical fitness due to the large amounts of walking involved
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the job
  • Attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork accurately and on time
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel to different locations all over the UK
  • Happy with staying out 4 nights per week
