📍 Cheltenham | £65-£75 per hour (Inside IR35) | 12-Month Contract | Aerospace Sector

Are you a Test Equipment Hardware Engineer looking to design, build, and support innovative test solutions in a high-integrity engineering environment?
We’re seeking an experienced Test Equipment Engineer to join a leading aerospace programme where you’ll be responsible for the full lifecycle of bespoke test systems for New Product Introduction. From initial concept through to hardware development, integration, verification, and ongoing support, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge test solutions for complex power distribution and control systems.

Your Role Will Include:
Designing, developing, and implementing Test Equipment (TE) hardware for system qualification and validation.
Leading the full test system lifecycle, from gathering requirements through to formal release and post-delivery support.
Executing robust integration of hardware and software into scalable test platforms.
Supporting manufacturing, sustainment, and quality teams with ongoing test system improvements.
Producing and maintaining accurate technical documentation aligned with engineering processes.What You’ll Bring:
A degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Proven background in Test System Design and Hardware Integration, ideally within aerospace, defence, or similarly high-integrity sectors.
Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to build reliable, long-term test solutions.
Excellent stakeholder communication and project collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and use sound technical judgement to identify and solve problems effectively.Contract Details:
Location: Cheltenham
Rate: ÂŁ65 - ÂŁ75 per hour (Inside IR35)
Duration: 12 months
