Our client, a long established and highly successful manufacturing business with particular strengths in fabrication and precision engineering, is seeking an accomplished Technical Sales Engineer to further expand their interests within the Aerospace and Defence sectors.

We are seeking an all-round technical sales specialist to target prospective customers with a view to establishing a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities. The company is based in the West Midlands region and it would be beneficial if you lived within one hour's commuting distance. You will be expected to undertake UK wide travel to attend client meetings, and, if required, also European & International travel to suit customer needs.

The Role:

Identify and approach new customers, creating a pipeline of profitable opportuntiies, centred around fabrication and precision engineering solutions.

Generate estimates and sales proposals, presenting them to the client as required.

Once new customers become established, focus on Account Management to optimise profitable revenue from each client.

Help to grow the team as turnover grows.

The Candidate

We are seeking a self starter with a proven track record of sales achievement within the Aerospace and/or Defence sectors.

Ideally you will be from a fabrication and/or machined components background, with the ability to read engineering drawings.
