Profile – Supply Chain Coordinator (Implant)

Our client is a leading figurehead in the UK food sector, with an unparalleled pedigree dating back to the early 18th century.

Job Role – Supply Chain Coordinator (Implant)

Reporting to the Collaborative Supply Manager (Grocery) the Supply Chain Coordinator will act as a conduit between company and customer ensuring the relationship is maintained by supporting the demand forecast process for the customer adhering to both customer and company processes.

This role is based on a client’s site in Leeds with some work from home and travel required.

Duties – Supply Chain Coordinator (Implant)

• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues at the Supplier & customer, representing the Supplier professionally throughout.
• Primary point of contact for issue resolution across the supply chain for your product range.
• Proficiency of Blue Yonder (LDE) Demand Planning systems to ensure accurate information flow, to improve item-store forecast accuracy.
• Chairing regular JSP meetings between Account Team, Supply Chain/Demand Planning and customer Commercial function, and following up on actions and initiatives agreed.
• Monitoring and analysing results/KPIs, taking corrective action to balance availability and waste/inventory based on business and commercial objectives
• Analysis of safety stock settings and strategies to work towards optimisation of store presentation levels
• Proactive communication of service issues ensuring alignment and any actions are then undertaken with thought given to sales cannibalisation where required.
• Key event management with a specific focus on delivering for customers/consumers at key trading periods (Christmas/Easter etc.)

Experience/Qualifications – Supply Chain Coordinator (Implant)

• A strong communicator with confidence to work cross functionally, to acquire information necessary to maintain and improve strong forecast accuracy.
• Commercial awareness and analytical skills required to most effectively manage forecasting systems
• Collaborative approach to ensure strong relationships with cross-functional teams
• Problem solving mindset focussed on smooth issue resolution
• Strong technical proficiency on bespoke replenishment systems, and basic Microsoft Office programs

Candidates who are currently a Planner, Demand Planner, Forecast Planner, Customer Collaboration Analyst, Analyst, Customer Coordinator Assistant, Customer Service Assistant, Production Planner and Supply Chain Implant could be suitable for this position.
