Spray Painter
Certain Advantage is looking for a Spray Painter to join a high-performing workshop team focused on delivering top-quality finishes across a range of industrial and commercial components in East Ayrshire.
 
The Company
We’re proud to partner with a global leader delivering complex engineering and infrastructure solutions in high-security, highly regulated environments.
 
The Role
This role involves preparing and painting large-scale items to specification, using a variety of techniques and materials in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
 
Key responsibilities include:

Preparing and painting vehicles and components to required quality standards.
Working with 2K paints, fillers (e.g., Cataloy), and other associated materials.
Operating sanding tools such as orbital sanders for surface preparation.
Following detailed work instructions and completing all necessary job documentation.
Collaborating effectively within a team to meet production targets and quality expectations.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures and company policies.
Demonstrating flexibility by supporting additional workshop duties when required. 
The Individual
We’re looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

Time-served painting experience with qualifications from accredited bodies.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on surface preparation and final finish.
Hands-on experience in automotive, commercial vehicle, aerospace, or spray painting environments.
A proactive, adaptable attitude and strong commitment to working as part of a team.
The ability to maintain quality and efficiency under pressure.
