This role can be performed out of our Bristol Leatherhead or Leicester office.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Due to a period of sustainable growth we have opportunities for a software engineer to join our highly successful team.

Responsibilities:

• Requirements Analysis
• Design and Software Development of a software simulator in line with customer requirements
• Integration of existing toolset and simulations tool into bespoke solutions
• Generation of unit and system level tests to verify required functionality
• Solution and Release Documentation
• User/customer Technical Interaction User/customer Technical Interaction

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

The successful candidate will be highly driven and creative individual able to work autonomously and also part of the simulations team. You must have relatable experience and background and genuinely want to work in a complex software systems environment.

We're looking for a range of the following skills and experiences:

• Background in Maths / Physics based software solutions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills – written & spoken
• Demonstrable commitment to quality and attention to detail
• A winning mind-set, self-starter and demonstrated ability to learn quickly
• Ability & experience in independent working
• Able to travel to the Bristol office as required

Desirable:

• Previous experience of software development (e.g. Java, C++) & verification
• Experience within the satellite industry or space domain
