We are looking for Senior Service Managers to lead the delivery and continued development of services in both Hammersmith & Fulham and Hackney.
Hammersmith & Fulham
The pathway delivers vital accommodation services including female only, semi-independent, complex needs and specific employment and training support. The Pathway forms part of a large offer of homelessness support in Hammersmith and Fulham that St Mungo’s deliver. This is a significant management position delivering excellent services in several high-profile areas of support for St Mungo’s.
Hackney
Overseeing a pathway of supported accommodation services for 215 clients, across 12 sites, including three 24 hours staffed hostels, incorporating women only services and an assessment hub, as well as the Hackney Housing First service and semi-independent accommodation with hubs and satellites properties.
The post holder will retain operational responsibility of Lansdowne Drive, which is a 28-bed medium support complex needs service whilst having managerial oversite of all other services.
In the role of Senior Service Manager, you will:
- Have overall responsibility for the improvement and consistency of the day-to day safe and smooth management of the pathway services
- Ensure high quality, safe support for those that access St Mungo’s accommodation services in the relevant borough.
- Support, motivate and manage Service Managers across multiple sites to ensure they can deliver a high standard and effective service to clients, encouraging a person-centred approach in line with our recovery ethos and within psychologically informed environments.
- Work closely with the Regional Head to contribute and lead on the promotion, strategic and operational planning of the service within St Mungo’s and the sector.
- Build effective relationships with partners, commissioners, and other relevant agencies to deliver a highly effective service.
- Oversee and monitor a large budget consisting of support and rental income with the support of the Regional Head.
- Ensure KPI’s across the service are met.
About you
This role will suit a motivated leader who has:
- Experience of leading service delivery team(s), financial planning, and budgetary responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to negotiate with a wide range of partners and external audiences, building strong effective working relationships.
- The ability to manage multiple service priorities and commissioner demands.
- Expert understanding of the techniques aims and objectives or working with vulnerable homeless people including those with complex needs.
- The ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and be passionate to the overall aims and objectives of the H&F Supported Accommodation Service.
