Job Title: Senior Mechanical EngineerContract: PermanentLocation: FarehamSalary: Competitive + BonusRole Overview – Senior Mechanical EngineerOur leading global engineering client are on the look out for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team at their site based in Fareham. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a number of solutions to execute requirements for both project needs across the aerospace industry.Key Responsibilities - Senior Mechanical EngineerDevelop engineering solutions to meet project requirements, including schedule, quality, and cost considerations, while adhering to company processes.Work with internal and external customers, suppliers, and colleagues in mechanical, systems, and hardware disciplinesManage formal requirements allocated to mechanical systems, validate these requirements according to industry standards, and demonstrate compliance through design descriptions and verification methods (e.g., testing, inspection, analysis).Compile work estimates and plans to support project managers. Proactively track progress, update plans, and adapt as projects develop.Mentor and develop apprentices, undergraduate interns, graduate engineers, and non-senior engineers to enhance their skills and increase department capacity.
