Senior Hardware Design Engineer | £55-70k + shares | Didcot | Hybrid

My client is a global leader in the space industry, pioneering innovation.

After more than 100 successful missions, they are expanding their operations and seeking a talented Senior Hardware Engineer to join their team.

Main duties:

  • Product Development and Design: Lead the specification, design, and validation of satellite communication products, including detailed circuit design, schematic capture, component selection, and simulation.

  • Collaboration and Manufacturing: Oversee in-house and third-party PCB layout teams, delivering manufacturing work packages for prototypes and production-quality products.

  • Integration and Validation: Support hardware, software, and system integration, ensuring successful validation and qualification of designs throughout the product lifecycle.

    Skills and Experience Required:

  • 6+ years of experience in an electronic design role

  • Experience designing high speed complex circuits and high density, multi-layer PCBs

  • Experience working with high-speed digital interfaces

  • Experience designing products that contain MCUs, FPGA/ASIC, RF or power supplies

    Bonus:

  • Experience developing satellite/payload equipment

  • DC/DC power supply design

    What you’ll get:
