Contract Length: 6 months (initial), with potential extension

A leading consultancy is looking for an experienced SAP PS & Finance Consultant to join a major S/4HANA transformation programme within the Aerospace & Defence sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, build, and deployment of SAP Project Systems and Cost Controlling processes, working closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

This is a hands-on delivery role suited to someone who combines deep SAP expertise with strong stakeholder engagement and cross-team collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, build, test, and deployment of SAP Project Systems, with integration across Procurement, SD, and Finance

  • Translate business requirements into clear configuration and technical designs

  • Deliver high-quality documentation including process flows, test scripts, and configuration guides

  • Run and support workshops to align stakeholders and provide training on new processes

  • Ensure consistency, quality, and completeness of SAP configuration and testing

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to drive solution delivery and adoption

    Required Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with SAP Project System (PS) and Cost Controlling (CO)

  • Deep understanding of S/4HANA project delivery across design, configuration, testing, and deployment

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and advisory capabilities

  • Proficient in writing and reviewing documentation: BRDs, process maps, test scripts

  • Experience supporting or leading cross-functional workshops

  • Exposure to SAP in Aerospace & Defence is beneficial but not essential

    This is an Inside IR35 contract with a flexible day rate based on experience
